Arkansas Bans Adoption by Gay Couples
Arkansas just passed a nice little initiative banning gay couples from adopting children. The language of the new law is tricky, in that it prohibits “unmarried partners from adopting children or serving as foster parents,” and applies “equally” to same-sex and opposite-sex couples.
