Please, please, please, do not use these tired, worn-out, played-out memes around me anymore:
• FAIL - I swear to god, my grandma is gonna start using fail soon. Please, I beg you all, stop. It’s not clever anymore, it’s just plain tired…
• Ping - I’m not a server, and you’re not a hacker, so let this one go. It was cute when it first started, in that human-imitating-computer-geeky-look-how-geeky-clever-I-am sorta way. It’s not anymore. When you want to IM me, just say “hi” or “hello.”
• Domo-Kun - I first saw Domo-Kun when my friend Ben started using it as his desktop image. Since then stuffed Domo have showed up at work, there was the whole Domo chasing kittens thing, now we have Target ads featuring Domo and Domo Halloween costumes. It’s time to say sayonara.
